Step Timer is a basic timer for mapping out simple or complex multi-part timing sequences in sound, lighting, projections, animation, video and film.
Tap Start to start the timer. Each time you tap Mark it will record both the total elapsed time and the interval since the last mark. Set the accuracy to 1/10 or 1/100 of a second, or to 24, 25, or 30 frames per second. The timing log can be copied and then pasted into another app for saving or sharing.
Tap the big button in the Tempo view in time to your music to display beats-per-minute, as well as the inverse: time-per-beat, which is critical for setting cue or effect timing to match the music.
Step Timer is a must for lighting, sound and projection design, video and animation, or any work where a sequence of action steps must be timed accurately, or synchronized to a music tempo.
Requires iOS 8.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
